The Right Board For You

When purchasing a new new skim board the factors to finding the right board for you is really quit simple. The three main factors you have to consider are:

  1. Weight

2) Height

3) How fast you can run

The reason for this is to help you get the best and safest ride on the waves possible. If you are too heavy for a board, when jumping on the board you might plunge it directly into the water, which will leave you face planting with a nose full of salt water. Or worse you might face plat into the sand and leave yourself with sand in places you didn’t know you had. The reason your high is important is for how fast you need to go. If you are extremely short and try to ride on a large board this will lead the board to slip out from under you quicker and sadly leave you buttslaming across the shore. And finally how fast you run plays an important role in the size of board you pick as well because you don’t want to loose your board. The smaller boards tend to go faster because they are lighter. If you drop  your board and can’t jump on it quick enough you will be destine to chasing after your board all day and nobody wants that. It really is quite simple. here is a chart to give you a little guidance is picking your perfect board.
