I used Adobe’s Photoshop to convert one pictures into 4 different platforms. Although all four pictures might look similar all are different in dimension and design. It started with just an original picture of our choice. This is a picture of my friend Lauren Wood shredding hard at 26th avenue in Santa Cruz a few years back. The original picture is 159kb and 600×594. I then converted this picture into a web design which is 150kb.  Reducing the size helps the look of the photo on the web. I then took the original photo and enhanced the size to to 400kb which is the edocument. The last stage of the project which was my favorite component was the filter. I got to chose any type of filter to change the look of the photo and I had fun playing around with the effects. Sense this project I have learned a lot more advanced techniques in photoshop but this project has given be a great foundation and platform to start from.
